Rush Process
Question: What is Rush?
Rush is a period for anyone interested in Greek life to meet the members of the organization. By throwing events for our rushes to attend, we hope to provide an opportunity for you to get to know the brothers better and to learn more about the fraternity. There is absolutely no obligation in rushing. Rush merely provides a comfortable means through which students who are interested in our fraternity can ask questions and interact with the brothers while having fun at the same time. Rush also provides a great opportunity for us to show the student body how Pi Delta Psi remains active in the community in pursuit of the goals our fraternity was founded upon.

Question: What are some Common Misconceptions?

Many students come to college believing that Greek Organizations only party and get drunk. They see fraternal organizations as an avenue where students can buy friendships and do nothing but socialize. However, prospective members should consider why fraternal organizations were first formed and the goals many of these organizations were founded upon. Although social aspects are part of any Greek organization, Pi Delta Psi prides itself on four pillars: Academic Achievement, Cultural Awareness, Righteousness, and Friendship/Loyalty. We believe that a Greek organization is a place where students can better themselves. We encourage our members to do well in school, be active on campus, and to service the community. Most importantly, through our organization, we build everlasting bonds among out Brothers. Rather than accepting the myths associated with Greek Life, take the time to truly meet the Brothers of Pi Delta Psi and see why we chose to be a part of the Asian American Greek Community. You might be surprised.

Question: Do I have to be Asian?
No, Pi Delta Psi is an Asian-interest cultural fraternity that seeks to educate others about our different heritages. One of the best ways to learn about these cultures is to pledge Pi Delta Psi. Anybody from any ethnicity who is interested in learning more about Asian culture and who has a desire to help spread cultural understanding is welcome in our fraternity. Pi Delta Psi has Asian, Caucasian, Latino, and African-American brothers across the nation, and members of Pi Delta Psi are proud to call men of any ethnicity who complete the pledging process their brother.
